Tab Trade — What It Is
TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: forex, indices, metals, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform this new, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both matters. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people find it more natural after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That would be a good addition once it is live.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
Infrastructure
This is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.
Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Now, the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. But inform your assessment.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal is worth it depends on you.
